Nickel Toxicology Expert tells Esperance Public Forum Nickel Exports Do Not Pose a Health Risk
8 February 2009The public information forum staged at Esperance by the State Government today was told that nickel exports through the port do not pose a health risk for the town’s residents. Dr Hudson Bates, Executive Director of the Nickel Producers’ Environmental Research Association, said: “Based on the available data there have been no health issues attributable to nickel handling in Esperance.”
