Development of Resin-Coated Stainless Steel in Japan (13003)
By M. Yoshino, 1990. An opportunity developed for applying thin-gauge stainless steel to exterior roofs and side walls of residences and factories in Japan. Resin-coated (nickel-containing) stainless steel, RCSS, was the answer. This review discusses RCSS substrate, resin paint, resin coating process, properties of RCSS, weldable and transparent RCSS.
